Jesse (Whalebone) and Teva (Blak Bear Surf Club) met many years ago through mutual friends and their love for chasing waves. Their love for surfing hasn’t changed but their outlook towards the surf industry and what it lacks certainly started to. Since then they’ve watched each other build brands and the communities around them, always with a focus on keeping things authentic and creating something people can truly connect to. Over the past few years Blak Bear has flipped the script and is bringing core back to surfing which is a flag that Whalebone is happy to fly. This collaboration has been a long time coming, and these limited-edition pieces are just the start of what’s ahead.
